This is my old Citizen Skyhawk AT Eco-Drive watch. I bought this in the early 2000’s and wore it for years. You can see from the photo that it has been well used (and a bit abused). Recently, I dug this Skyhawk AT out of a drawer, put it in sunlight and it came back to life. I was able to sync it to the atomic clock and it keeps perfect time. I love the feel of this old school watch.
In more recent times, I have been wearing various iterations of the Apple Watch. No more. I am tired of screens, of email notifications, of text notifications, of being in contact with everyone and everything 24/7.
I am going back to being disconnected as often as possible by wearing my old watch.
