A birthday request so we got these two having fun
When you first met a new leader in civilisation 6;
“Hello neighborino, have a welcome gift basket. I have the feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
After 50 turns;
”I will burn your cities to the ground and salt your fields with the tears of your widows”
Playing Civilisation VI
Me: I’ve just finished fixing my city
Gandhi:
My patriotism extends as far as Civ 6 players and not further
It appears as though my latest graphics driver update is incompatible with my antivirus programme. Which is fun.
I just want to play a nice game of Civ 6, I just want to build the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and the Bolshoi Ballet and flip some cities using Eleanor of Aquitane's loyalty powers, without it crashing every 10 minutes. Especially when it usually takes about 15 minutes to load up a game you've made any kind of progress in.
When you get an idea for a short story about the end of the world because of playing civilisation. The slow, encroaching death throes of a world, its inevitable doom foretold for thousands of years by crazed soothsayers. The people of the world only start acting when meteorites start getting larger and larger, their impacts destroying cities so completely that only the craters mark the location. Their efforts to develop the technology to leave the world behind, hindered by war and solar flares.
Oh there are vampires.
