How does Cizumab 400mg Injection work?
Cizumab 400mg Injection is an anticancer medicine that is useful in treating metastatic breast cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, epithelial ovarian, non-small cell lung cancer, fallopian tube, cancer of the colon and rectum, etc.
CIZUMAB 400MG/16ML INJ consists of ‘Bevacizumab’ which functions against vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) located on the lymph and blood vessels banding. VEGF induces blood vessels to develop within tumours, supplying nutrients and oxygen to the tumour. Inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor limits the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the tumour, causing it to shrink or cease developing. Thus, in this way Bevacizumab Injection helps in treating cancer.
