Clace Week Day 1: CLACE meets TIKTOK
“Jace Herondale!” Clary shrieked her cheeks burning red! Throwing the pillow from their bed in his direction, “Why are you not wearing clothes!”
“C’mon it’s not like you haven’t seen it all before!” He smirks and grabs a pair of jeans from the wardrobe. “Besides my followers always love your cute reactions!” He laughs plopping down on the bed next to her holding his new phone in-front of him.
“Where did you event take your clothes off!” Clary questions, “everyone is in the institute today! I also do not give you permission to post that!” She laughs trying to grab the phone from him. Easily he blocks her with one arm and her phone dings from across the room meaning she just gotten a Tik Tok notification herself.
“Oh across the hall but I wore a robe it's outside the door.” Not looking in her direction he continues to scroll through the endless line of videos people post on the mundane app. “You're just jealous your art page isn’t nearly as popular as my page.” He gloats.
This was true her art page have a meek 5000 followers while he had well over 100,000. How he gotten that popular she already knew. “Just because you look like a god and have your shirt off in almost every video.” Smirking he drops his phone and rolls to face her.
“You think I Look like a god.” He taunts.
“I would have never proposed to you if you didn’t look like a God, you need something to balance out your cockiness.” Standing up Clary tosses her sketchpad on the desk and she starts on her hair.
“Thats not how you speak to a God, Clarissa.” Jace scolds her, “Beside not all of them have my shirt off, about ten percent of my videos are pranks on you or Alec!”
“That doesn’t help your case any.” She mumbles.
“Look we already have duets and over 2000 likes. We trending, also people think I should include you in more of my post.” Ignoring him she continues getting ready. “Were a Tik Tok couple now.”
“Jace!” She twirls in her dress to face him, “Enough with that app you're obsessed!” Catching him off guard she snatches the device from his hands and tosses is on the floor. His shiftlessness always surprises her because he immediately reacts and grabs her waist bringing her to him.
“Clary I am not obsessed.” He declares. “I’m slightly addicted..”
“Well we have an engagement party to finish getting ready for.
Thirty minutes later Clary and Jace walk hand in hand to their engagement party Isabelle decided to throw.
“Clary!” She smile and hugs her. “This is so exciting! I’m so glad you let me plan this.”
“Yes, me too.” Simon says coming up and giving both Clary and Jace hugs. “Shes been talking about this since our wedding and all the ideas.”
“Oh stop it. He’s lying!” Isabelle blushes. She’s only this relaxed around Simon. Clary felt smug that her nerdy friend, now Shadowhunter found someone how she found Jace.
“Cupcake! Darling! Congratulations,” Magnus suddenly appeared. “I can’t believe you still get flustered by the sight of your soon to be husband!” He starts.
“Not you too. Alec please tell me Magnus has not hopped in the Tik Tok bandwagon.” She groans.
“I’m a culprit myself,” Alec replies. “I think we should all make a TikTok right now. Our mundane followers won’t know what to do with themselves.”
“You boys are ridiculous. I literally had a flip phone till two months ago!” She exasperates.
“Its not just the boys I have one two but mine is my work out and trying routines! You should know you follow me!” Isabelle pipes in.
“Come on babe lets make a TikTok announce our engagement to the world.” Jace pulls her to him.
“If I do this everyones phones are going into a box until this party is over!” She suggest. “Promise!”
“Promise!” They all say in sync.
“Who would have though… a handful of shadow hunters and a warlock would be controlled by an app on their iphones!” She laughs. “Magnus a box please,” she request. Obliging one appears from no where.
