Claire and Quackerjack’s relationship is pretty much the inverse of Clara and the Nutcracker from the ballet The Nutcracker.
In the ballet, Clara’s love for the nutcracker brings him his toy state to being alive. Inversely, in the comic “Toy with Me”, Quackerjack, without the love from Claire (as well as all the other bullshit) Quackerjack goes from being alive to a toy state.
I really couldn’t suggest this parallel without drawing a piece for it. Claire and QJ make me happy and I’d love for them to have a nice dance from the ballet
