What’s the most disturbing movie you’ve ever watched?
I’ve watched a lot of disturbing films, but the other night I watched The Snowtown Murders and it was horrible because it was not only based on a true story, but a story which happened in my city. As there aren’t many Australian films, it doesn’t usually feel so close to home, but everything down to the costumes and houses/gardens was exactly what you see in the neighbourhood it was set/filmed. And then from that, there were so many horrible scenes with sexual abuse, torture, animal death etc. :( The Silence of the Lambs is also up there bc I watched that when I was about eight years old and fell in love with it, even though it was hella disturbing!
The most aesthetically pleasing movie you’ve ever watched?
Oh god, there are so many! All Sofia Coppola films, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas, Stoker, Suckerpunch, Skyfall, Moulin Rouge. Also Pirates of the Caribbean tbh. And Heathers is just so aesthetic.
What’s the very first film you remember watching?
I can’t think of one, but it would be something from the Disney Renaissance, I’m sure!
A film you wish had a sequel?
There are so many and suddenly I can’t think of one! Part of me thinks The Parent Trap, but only if they went back to camp for a bit and it was as amazing as the first (90s version)!
