BEING CHILDHOOD FRIENDS MEANT TWO THINGS:  peter parker is the only person with the ability to get harry osborn to ditch his routine for the day, and harry osborn has an absolute weak spot where peter parker is concerned.  which explains why he’s here walking with him when it’s cold and gloomy out.  but regardless of the weather,  he’s willing to drop all responsibilities for the day in a heartbeat,  greedy to spend as much time with his best friend as possible.  he’s missed him,  especially now with everything that’s been happening--  no.  he can’t think of that now.  he’s not going to let this ruin his day out with peter.

HARRY LOOKS OVER AT PETER,  ENTIRELY FONDLY,  as he nudges him gently,  “  so run by today’s plan with me again  ?  we’re gonna get lunch,  get our last minute halloween costumes,  and then what  ?  ”

giving gifts was a very interesting tradition of earth, and so they found it fascinating that this tradition had passed through to zerthea. perhaps zerthea was more like earth than tamaran! she wondered if they were trying to emulate it, or if it were just by chance. kori considered herself to be pretty good at picking out presents, and this was no different. she brought a set of beautiful plates and a cake she baked herself. “hello, friend! i have made you a gift.” @claimedlight​

bucky was settling into his apartment pretty well. in a strange way, it felt more like home than earth ever had, at least, since he woke up again. he wouldn’t say he was happy to be here, and he knew that this couldn’t last and he needed to get home, but he was finding ways to enjoy himself. he had to, really, because at the moment, he had no other choice. and being here meant he had no responsibilities, which meant he could relax, in whatever way that looked like for him. he heard a knock, and he got up from where he’d been reading on the couch. he didn’t feel as on edge with his neighbors here as he had before. when he pulled the door open to reveal sam on the other end, he frowned, staring at him for a solid minute or two, before closing the door again. @claimedlight​

while there was other food, tony had taken it upon himself to grill, even if he really didn’t need to. plus, not to brag, though tony did love to brag, he was a master griller, really. he dared someone to make better burgers than his. “i wish i had fries to go with these, but i do have some vegetable skewers and corn on the cob. what do you want? these burgers about to be ready.” @claimedlight​
