Cats of the golden, grassy prairie, members of this clan are faster than the wind and have fantastic eyesight. Proud, fiery, traditional, and quick to anger, these cats are resilient and known to speak their minds. Dishonesty is considered an absolute taboo - as is bending the truth. Sneaking around is hardly this clan’s style, preferring to make all problems and grievances known. They are loud, bold, and fiercely devoted to both their own and to their allies, making alliances valuable and grudges deadly. They are incredibly devoted and dedicated to caring for their families, whether biological or chosen.

PrairieClan prides themselves on tradition and history - this Clan loves their way of life and are incredibly community oriented. This even shows in the Clan's unique camp - located in an abandoned groundhog burrow, most ranks all share one den together, called the Clan Den. This Clan's loyalties run deep, as no Clan loves their own more than PrairieClan. If you pick a fight with one of them, you pick a fight with all of them - and they won't go down easily.

An odd group, PondClan cats are highly superstitious, dreamers, and are constantly trying to discern fate. Much of their lives are spent preparing for the next - while PrairieClan may claim to be the closest to StarClan, PondClan is much more in tune with their ancestors, always looking for signs and omens from beyond. This Clan receives the most prophecies.

In PondClan, all cats do the job of interpreting visions, normally reserved for medicine cats in the other Clans. Even the most sickly cat can be considered the greatest warrior of the Clan if they're good at seeing StarClan's signs. This Clan is highly superstitious, with beliefs that range from their territory being haunted by baleful ghosts of drowned prisoners of war, to a superstition where three is thought to be a sacred number - litters of three are even considered blessed by StarClan. The stars light these cats' pawsteps - even through the dark.

A daring group of cats who live in the woods on the cliffs of a state park, located along a river, RidgeClan is known for living on the edge, always chasing new challenges and laughing in the face of fate. This Clan is no place for cowards - to be a true warrior, a RidgeClan cat can show no fear. RidgeClan is full of acrobatic cats who are used to navigating and climbing the trees sprouting from the cliffs, as well as swimming. They are typically light on their paws, agile, and often covered in scars from their exploits - such marks are seen as a sign of courage from overcoming past challenges.

RidgeClan loves challenges, dares and feats of bravery - to become a warrior of RidgeClan, you have to cross a rushing waterfall to prove yourself. Due to their territory encompassing cliffs, forests and a river, they are known for being jacks-of-all-trades - most RidgeClan cats can climb, sneak, and swim. Wars against this Clan can be deadly, as they strike hard and without hesitation, like a tornado touching the earth. They may receive the least amount of prophecies from StarClan, but they still remember those in the stars by telling tales of the exploits of those who have long since passed. They are the bravest, and you will know it.

Clan Spotlight: BarnClan

A lax, easygoing group of cats, BarnClan is often seen as little more than an organized group of kittypets by critics. However, these cats are always thinking outside the box and are known for their creativity. This Clan is the most diverse of all of the Clans in terms of pelt colors and builds due to them readily accepting outsiders and exiles. They are very accepting of varying ideals and beliefs, which has the side effect of them not always being the most united group.

BarnClan is the newest Clan to live in the Midwest territories, only having three leaders prior to their current one. They are the oddities - with so little time to develop since their conception, they lack the traditions and rituals of the other Clans. The absence of structure may frustrate some, but cats seeking an open-minded group will be right at home in BarnClan.

Their territory is located on a Twoleg farm - thanks to this, these cats know more about Twolegs than anyone else, and may even know some of their words for things. They also are incredibly creative, figuring out ways to utilize their unconventional living space to the fullest.

Clan Spotlight: PrairieClan

Cats of the golden, grassy prairie, members of this clan are faster than the wind and have fantastic eyesight. Proud, fiery, traditional, and quick to anger, these cats are resilient and known to speak their minds. Dishonesty is considered an absolute taboo - as is bending the truth. Sneaking around is hardly this clan’s style, preferring to make all problems and grievances known. They are loud, bold, and fiercely devoted to both their own and to their allies, making alliances valuable and grudges deadly.

PrairieClan loves two things most of all - truth and tradition. Very community-oriented, these warriors love their own and would live and die for each other without any regrets. They are the fastest warriors around, and though some might find their excessive pride vain, they cling to it as an identity.

This Clan does not tolerate code-breaking - those who are not loyal to PrairieClan are often banished. They are more practical than idealistic, but more spiritually-minded than both of their bordering neighbors. They are encouraged to speak their minds often, and Clan meetings to brainstorm solutions to a problem are common.

RidgeClan is the storm to PondClan’s calm - they blaze through life, living fast, dying young, and telling the tales of those who have walked before. Any given warrior from RidgeClan tends to be a jack-of-all-trades - they can swim, they can run, they can climb, and they can sneak. 

This Clan is full of risktakers, and love setting dares and challenges for each other. To become a warrior, an apprentice must cross a rushing waterfall as proof of their courage.

Clan Spotlight: PondClan

An odd group, PondClan cats are highly superstitious, dreamers, and are constantly trying to discern fate. Much of their lives are spent preparing for the next - while PrairieClan may claim to be the closest to StarClan, PondClan is much more in tune with their ancestors, always looking for signs and omens from beyond. This Clan receives the most prophecies.

In PondClan, duties that normally would only fall to a medicine cat in other Clans are instead shared by every cat - namely, interpreting and looking for StarClan’s signs. These cats have frequent visions of the future, a plethora of superstitions, and their territory is believed to be haunted by specters of the past.

Wisdom and foresight are venerated among these cats, who have meditation and reasoning as part of their apprenticeship as well as hunting and battle skills. Fate is a winding path, and PondClan is determined to know where it’s heading.
