Dewclan: Year 8, Moon 1

Amberpaw and Darkfur finally get taken to the gathering with Snipbird to meet the other clan's Medicine cats (Sneezefur and Ratlake). They hear about the two's issues with Starclan dreams, and offer them comfort. Ratlake in particular is used to these dreams, and offers to help.

Fierceburst's leg infection has him in serious condition. The Medicine cats hope with the herb stores becoming more plentiful again that he can be helped.

While out on patrol with Lilyeyes, Beepelt isn't shy about letting her feelings be known. It seems Lilyeyes isn't opposed to the idea of more patrols together.

Some Concepts

I decided to work on some setting concept art while working on Year 5, since I got a couple animatics planned for the future >:)

I only got a couple right now, the first is a very rough territory map for all four clans, also pointing out camp locations and the location of the Star Spring, but I have yet to come up with any potential landmarks (like something akin to the Tall Oak) or even a Gathering location, so it's not quite done yet but this is what I got for now!

And I also got a rough concept of Willowclan's Leaders Den, which I always envisioned as built into the very Willow tree that shelters their camp. It probably looks too small in terms of scale but hey, it's a rough concept, I can forgive it lol

That's all I got for now!

I'm planning other concepts like for Starclan and the Star Spring as well as other dens in Willowclan's camp but I'll admit, my motivation sucks so it may be a while.

A few days late and a few dollars short but it's up! I thought I had a page ready to go on Thurs only to find out I didn't! I was able to get it done this week at least :)! No new page next week.

The symbols over the speech bubbles are something I rly like! Each is supposed to be recognizable as each cat even as a symbol. Goldsilk's sword symbol might be the hardest to recognize now, but that's his main weapon of choice! Spindlesun's is her chest diamond, and Greenstar is.... a green star. lol

Did something new with the backgrounds....might have to stick with it since it takes so much less time than the previous ones... We'll see :-)
