Ghostgaze and his mate Asterheart with their 4 kits. A messy written backstory is under cut!
Ghostgaze is a reserved and calm tom who was abandoned by his twolegs as a 4 moon old kit. He doesn't have much of a memory of his twolegs or his family and wandered before he stumbled into Whisperclan territory where he was found by a patrol. They took him in and he was first mentored to Frostspeckle, a dangerous and cold warrior with a dark past. Ghostpaw picked up on this behavior and soon learned Frostspeckle was not a safe cat to be apprenticed too. He began having visions and strange dreams usually filled with Frostspeckle and the cats he murdered. At 10 moons old Ghostpaw quickly made the decision to switch to a mediator as to get away from Frostspeckle and was now mentored by Curlwave who taught him to be more patient and calm. Around this time his spiritual connections became stronger.
Batscreech was mentored by Ghostgazes old mentor and was becoming a mediator as well. Batscreech looked up to Ghostgaze and they both took comfort in eachother as they were both abandoned as kits. As a young tom a fellow clanmate named Onetuft always had a small one sided crush on Ghostgaze, one that he was oblivious too. He developed a crush on Otterpatch but rejected her proposal to become mates but when Otterpatch became mates with Poddusk he felt a little hurt and regretful that he didn't follow his feelings.
Ghostgaze's adoptive mother Amanicurl and his mentor Curlwave both died in the same moon leaving Ghostgaze distraught. Although he had grown apart from them both they were still his closest family but helping his grieving clanmates helped him also cope. A few moons later Lotuskit fell into the river but Ghostgaze managed to save her. Ghostgaze knowing of Frostspeckles murder but not being able to convice his clanmates he did anything was distraught when hearing that Frostspeckle found four abandoned kits. He had given three of them to his sister but had a connection to Tornkit. Ghostgaze was worried Frostspeckle would try to manipulate Tornkit but thankfully Tornpaw, although strange, didn't seem to take on his adoptive fathers bloodthirsty trait but was named after him becoming Tornspeckle. To this day Ghostgaze still watches for Tornspeckle. After being able to prove that Conifernewt, Dashleaf, Wolfcreek, and Glintpaw were all murdered by Frostspeckle he was finally exiled and cast out of the clan where he swore his revenge. Asterheart was found as a kit when Ghostgaze was 6 moons old. Moons later when the both of them were grown Ghostgaze found he developed a liking for the she-cat. These feelings freaked him out as they were stronger than any he had ever had before and he denied and refused them for moons before Asterheart started getting closer to him, inviting him to come out on patrols and help him with giving advice. When they were both 3 years old Asterheart confessed and they became mates. A year later Asterheart fell pregnant with his kits. In Greenleaf Asterheart gave birth to their kits Heatherflame, Ravenflight, Bristledapple, and Lilywhisker.
