This model's not going to win any awards, but it's won my heart. I have a strong fondness for the 90s monopose plastics from GW, they're all beautiful miniatures that encompass the whimsical feel of classic WFB. And I hate assembling plastic kits. It's a miserable chore.

When I first got into Warhammer, and miniatures in general, as a young sprout, I was immediately drawn to the Skaven. They were little rat dudes, how cool is that? Sadly, for a child with not a massive amount of cash or patience, having undiagnosed ADHD, it was a Bad Choice and I ended up playing Orcs & Goblins for a bit after winning a boxed army in a raffle at a nearby GW (they used to do those). But, my love of Skaven has remained and, despite only every playing one game with a mostly unpainted army, I still dream of having a properly painted set to enjoy.

I'm going to redo the sword blade though.
