“Aw, come on!” the alien groaned, holding her sonic up to her face as sparks flew from the top of it. Her face wrinkled in disappointment as she looked over the casing of the tool. “I just dropped you a bit. It’s not like you’re not used to bein’ tossed around all day.” she spoke to it, which was a habit she took up ever since she started talking to her TARDIS. The Doctor could always sense personality in objects, though her TARDIS was completely alive and the device in her hand was most certainly not. 

Worrying over the object as she turned it around in her hands, the Doctor began to walk aimlessly, not even watching where she was going. Her brain was to fixated on how she was going to get her sonic working again...and that’s when she ran right into someone. With a huff, she tried to catch her balance, almost dropping her sonic yet again. “Oh! Sorry. Bit distracted.” she threw up, glancing up at the person briefly before returning her gaze to her sonic and-... Wait. She knew that face. 

Looking back up, she was met with one Clara Oswald. She knew that this might’ve happened one day, considering how scattered across her timeline her old companion was. “Hello.” she spoke hesitantly, not sure if the girl remembered her or not. Wibbly wobbly.

Him: Reluctantly, he raised his arms to encircle her, and he held her as if she were the most precious thing in his universe. 

Her: Desperately, she clung onto him, wondering if the memory of his dual heartbeats tapping a staccato rhythm across her chest would sustain her in the long, cold nights ahead.

Them: And in that moment, they came to the singular conclusion that if they did not let go now, they never would.

To the Clara Fans, like Me

I know more than a few of you are broken up right now. Heck, on Tuesday and Wednesday I was quite a sad person myself. But it still is not over yet. We have a number of Episodes to go through, probably 2 months worth, befor Clara leaves. And these are the Glory Days, according to the promotional material. So, we will find much to be happy about.

And, Clara as Companion has last longer than most Doctors, from 1st Appearance to last appearance. She first appeared in August of 2012, and won’t be leaving til November or December. She will have lasted longer than 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th in terms of time on TV. Only the Brigadier has been around longer in terms of companions.

I am a little sad that Jenna won’t me going to the Dallas Comic-Con because of her new show (mostly because I got a ticket. :P), but I hope she will come back to the US for a Con next year. I really want to thank her being the best Companion, and because her first appearances pulled me out of a really, deep and dark depression 2 years ago. I just worry about coming off as creepy and weird, because I am poor at social things.
