I woke up 45 mins early today for no reason. 😩 So, I decided to do a morning sheet mask and eye mask. I rarely double mask because I usually forget! It really did make a difference in depuffing my tired morning face, though. I also saw some (temporary, of course) brightening under my eyes. #skincareroutine for Saturday night, 7/30/16 Cremorlab Cleansing Gel Oil, I'm surprised by how much I like this despite its rose scent lol. It's very delicately scented, so I don't mind it. It's also my first time using a gel oil and I love that it's not a typical drippy oil. It's firmer, truly more gel-like, but not a heavy oil. I finally used this donkey milk sheet mask. I felt cringey nearly the entire time I wore it because I hate milk AND strongly dislike horses and anything similar, like donkeys. Yes, I know...I'm a monster! 😂😭 Fortunately, it was just ok and didn't blow me away, so I won't be rebuying it and torturing myself once again. This week I've been sheet masking every night while binge-watching House of Cards. 😂 My skin is looking more plump and glowy and I think it's due to the increased masking. PIH and couple acne spots are still around, but the surrounding areas are looking good. This was my first time using a Lovemore silk mask and wow, the fit is nice! The mask is thin and stretchy. I haven't had time to post my morning #skincareroutine lately, but here is today's I've been enjoying the Loveisderma sunscreen that @beautibi sent me to try. It's lightweight, non-greasy and has no white cast. It's main sunscreen filters are octyl methylcinnamate, titanium dioxide and Uvinul A. It works great under makeup and as someone who has so many issues with sunscreens, it almost feels too good to be true. 😂 Ive also been using the Loveisderma Hydramax Hyaluronic Acid serum and I'm still playing with the right dosage. So far, 2 drops of the HA serum mixed with 3 drops of @pamperurselfgreen's Clarifying Glow Tonic seems to work the best for me. I've been breaking out in areas where I normally do not, and these spots weirdly have also bled a lot than normal (yes, I'm a picker! 😩) I know this will sound crazy but the only thing that I could pinpoint to as the cause is that I've increased my fish oil caps over the past month. I started out taking 1 per day many months ago, then increased to 2 and things were fine. I recently increased to 3 and I guess that crosses the line and my skin is freaking out. I never get acne on my left side or forehead and suddenly I have zits there. I have been using a couple new products but this latest breakout started before any of those came into play. Sorry for the long ramble, but this is my skincare diary so dear diary, I think too many fish oil caps is not a good thing for me. Going to take a break from those and focus on eating real fish that contain those good oils. Anyone else experienced this? I googled and found this is not uncommon!
