Whats the lore of ur oc with Alice
So basically, Clark and Alice had been co-workers ever since she became a journalist. While her work seemed to grant her recognition from their peers and others, Clark stayed behind in her shadow— mostly acting as a ghost writer to Alice’s success.
Since they were more like partners than co-workers, Clark helped her with most of the research she had done of Melbourne, ultimately becoming quite intrigued about her personal affairs. With Alice’s sudden disappearance, Clark thought this was his opportunity to make a name for himself and climb the ladder farther, but all that remained was her. Because Alice remained anonymous throughout most of her career, the firm wanted Clark to act as her while doing reports— write as her, talk as her, they even wanted him to take on her cases. It was madness.
Thanks to that, Clark convinced himself the only way to leave her shadow was to murder her. That way, there wouldn’t be any sort of excuse for him to continue doing this kind of work. So he ends up following her into the manor, in search of petty revenge.
can i ship clark and alice 😋?
It’s funny to me that people want to ship them considering Clark followed Alice into the manor just to kill her. Let them perpetually be in their Tom and Jerry dynamic!
