Clexaweek2018 Posting Guideline

Clexaweek2018 will take place from Sunday, February 25th, to Saturday, March 3rd. Anyone can participate in whichever ways you choose: you can write a fic, make fanart, fanvids, playlists, aesthetic posts/moodboards, etc. Each day for Clexaweek2018 will have its own theme, which can be found right here. You don’t have to do all of them, you can pick one or two or any amount. You can even do multiple entries for a prompt if you want. If you can do all 7 days, awesome! If you only do one day, awesome! It’s whatever you feel like doing, this is for fun! Be creative, but make sure you meet the prompt and it shows.

Use the tags #Clexaweek2018, #Day (_), and #(prompt). Make sure you put those first two tags in first because tags can be finicky and when searching, only the top 5 tags show up. Feel free to use whatever other tags you want (#Clexa, #Clexa fic, #Clexa fanart, what have you), but just make sure to definitely list those two at the beginning.

You can submit a link to me, either directly to the work or to your tumblr post, and I will reblog it. It’s only me running this blog and I work full-time so it makes it a little easier on me when I’m sneaking off to the bathroom for a minute to update. If you forget to send me a link, I’ll still be perusing the tag. If I have forgotten to share yours, please remind me and I will do so as soon as possible!

Only new work will be shared for this. You can of course go ahead and share older works, but they will not be added to the masterlist.

To conclude, just have fun with this, and please make sure to support one another! This is the most important thing about Clexa week! People are not creating new content for you, they are sharing it with you.  If you read someone’s fic, please drop a kudos and a comment. Even something as simple as “fjkdlafjdks this was great” means the world. If someone makes fanart/moodboards etc, please reblog it, don’t just like it- liking it is great, but reblogging it is how it gets shared and seen! And so on and so on. Clexaweek2018 is just our way of making sure Lexa lives on in a thousand different worlds, about ensuring Clexa’s love lives on. It’s just showing our love for them however we can, just for fun. Even if you’re a terrible writer or artist, feel free to join! :) Can’t wait to see what you come up with, Kru! :D

Clexa 3x03 - This will always be one of my favorite moments within the Clexa storyline. I mean honestly. Lexa betrayed Clarke in 2x15, so she found a way to prevent that from happening again. Love it.

Just like most of you, I stopped watching the 100 not long after Lexa was killed off the show, and while I had a fanfic I was working on beforehand, I’ve always found it a little hard to want to continue it. In the beginning it was relatively easy because I was trying to keep the character alive in my world, but then over time it became frutrating for some reason. But, ever since the series finale of The 100, I’ve found a new found love for Clexa. 

Alycia Debnam-Carey came back to the 100 and played a character that took the form of Lexa, and while it wasn’t really her, it didn’t matter. What we got was the fact that Clarke, after all these years still saw Lexa as her greatest love. That does not make up for killing Lexa off in 3x07 but it sure ignited something in me. Stories I wasn’t sure I was going to write because I felt I was done with this fandom, are back full force. The story that I started way back in season 2, is almost complete now. That moment re-ignited the love I always had for the Clarke and Lexa relationship in the 100, and for that I’m grateful.

WHY DID I NEVER SEE THIS?

What is it about blue eyed blondes, loving greened eyed brunettes?! I just realized that my two favorite ships are the same. Clarke is the blue eyed blonde that loves the green eyed brunette Lexa. Then there's Kara Danvers the blue eyed blonde that loves the green eyed brunette Lena Luthor.
