First five of the 1st level cards! 

Just.. Like.. 12 left. Phew.

These are a lot of fun to make, but very time consuming. Making up the effects and having them be unique and offer something other than spells, checking with existing spells to make sure the cards aren’t over- or underpowered (which is very difficult at times as there’s often no direct comparison that can be made since they’re, you know, new), writing the info out so it makes sense and then illustrating the card, well... That’s a bunch of stuff to get done.

Deck of Fortunes Card Template

I took the free template I use for races and tweaked it into a template for my tarotell cards and their descriptions. I think it’s looking pretty good! 

Thus far I’ve got a total of 24 finished cards of cycle and 1st level.

The last of the 1st level cards have been finished!

The top three are subclass specific. Envy from the Lord of Deceit, Harvest from the Lord of Luck and Sunrise from the Lady of Fate.

I’ve pretty much decided that level 6 will be the highest level cards, but that it’ll still be possible to use higher level predictions to add some oomph to damage or healing, with some cards gaining additional effects.

Another four cards finished! This is a pretty fun style to experiment in. But more importantly, it’s fairly quick. Which is needed, since I have a ton of them to do.

I’ve written out the entire 24 cards I have finished thus far and put them on these little leaflets. Here you have a taste of a couple of them!

The plan is to actually draw all the cards as well. But yeah. That’s a project in itself.
