Black Sabbath – Mob Rules
Greenville's Gateway Clubhouse forges ahead with director Randy Redlinger in providing members hope and community.
Class of 1992 Randy Redlinger is part of the good news in Greenville County.
Truth, I hoard sappy shit.
There is currently a trunk-sized plastic bin buried in my garage that contains “keepsakes” that range from hilarious to absurd. Such as:
Stemware from Prom Night 1992
Love letters from high school boyfriends (one note is a request to meet after class so the boy could “ask me out.” Lololol)
Various gifts or trinkets from high schools boyfriends
Various notes from my friends ranging from Jr High to High School. For whatever reason, I started storing the notes in various shoe boxes and tricker boxes that I gathered over the years. Some of these boxes tell their own story.
“Slam Books” from the countless number of sleepovers we attended or hosted
My first diary
I have no idea what to do with this stuff! It’s pretty hilarious to unearth it and read through it very few decades but it does seem silly to drag it around. I’ve thought about digitizing it all and throwing some of it away, but that could turn into a massive undertaking. I also thought about highlighting some of the more amusing stuff on a blog. But would anyway even want to read it? I feel like the only people who would care are those who participated in the memory as it happened. Is this generally the case?
Do you guys hoard shit like this too?
Any suggestions on what I can do with it?
