Trial Two Start
Once again, a buzzing phone interrupts your investigating.
“Time’s up! We gotta get down to business, so meet at the fence again! Same place as last time.”
You wonder what might happen if you don’t show up... Nothing good, you decide as you reluctantly head over to the meeting spot by the fence. Waiting for you with a big, shitty smile just like last time, Ouji is (thankfully) silent even as everyone arrives. Opening the gate, he sets off down the dirt path without even checking to see if you all follow.
Of course, you do. What choice do you all have?
The trial area hasn’t yet lost the slightly mysterious, otherworldly air to you. All the ofuda and the shinto gate chair Ouji happily seats himself in yet again give you the impression that this would be an amazing place to spend time in any other circumstance. Naturally, none of you are very happy to be here right now. Although... Ouji did say that there was a traitor among you.
... Is one of you smiling on the inside as they watch all this?
Clearing his throat as you all gather, Ouji looks around with a smile of his own. He does really look like royalty observing his kingdom.
“I’m pretty eager to see how you all bounce back from last time! It didn’t seem as if any of you had fun watching that last execution, ehehe. Think you can solve this one? I can only hope!”
