Thinking about those 20 minutes I lost and will never get back in 2005 while playing RuneScape after respawning back and Lumbridge. I was walking back for 20 real-time minutes and a low-poly dog bit my ankle. I don’t even know if it was a dog, it was a triangle with legs. Could’ve been a gorilla for all I know. Either way Kelly Clarkson was playing wistfully from my radio in the background. No I am no Miss Independent today, Kelly. I GOT SPAWNED BACK AT LUMBRIDGE.

Because I'm a giant nerd I just have to rant real quick. Classic Runescape was a giant part of my childhood (right up there with club penguin) especially in middle school. I loved the Mythical land and the things you were able to do in that amazing MMO RPG style game. Twas the first kind of computer game I played with that style and I fell in love with it instantly. I can't believe it's shutting down, it's been a long time since I've played but I still have so many fond memories of it. I can't believe it's been online nearly my entire life. Just wow.

So, one of my favorite youtubers, cr1tikal (aka penguinz0) caused an entire economic bubble around monkey nuts in classic runescape, complete with ridiculously fast inflation of prices and a drastic pop, all in a single night.

There are people on runescape role playing slave and master BDSM stuff right next to the Lumbridge bank. I'm not sure if I'm appauld or if I'm not even surprised since this is on runescape. Omfg he rp'd sucking his thing by blowing a raspberry at him. I'm so doneeeee
