Acaster supremacy
When I was a child I remember my mother waking me up and telling me it was snowing and so I rushed to the window and watched it snow and the world looked pristine and pure and I felt glad to be awake and experiencing life.
Pretty sure James Acaster camping in a field 20 minutes from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival counts as a cryptid
[2021|017] Classic Scrapes (2017) written by James Acaster
here’s a little compilation post of (in my humble opinion) James Acaster’s most classic scrapes
in no particular order:
ditching a halloween party and coaxing a fox out from behind a wall with a stranger
attempting to cut through his old school and getting caught
being terrorized by a little boy and accidentally getting into a competitive tournament whilst playing badminton
breaking into his singing teacher’s house to take a shit
getting into a fight with a group of boys on the London night bus
being forced to walk around Bath looking for condoms after pulling at a gig
being stuck on Alcatraz after getting his credit cards stolen
getting chased by a dog after spending the night at a girl’s dorm room
and of course the iconic sleeping in a bush in Basingstoke wearing red dress
sitting myself down with ice cream and james acaster's classic scrapes audiobook (narrated by the man himself). hasn't even started playing yet and i'm already giggling.
