4.8.15 - Stars vs Ducks Game Recap (Stars Be Clippin' Bird Wings)

WE WONNNNNNNN. Look I know we’re eliminated from the playoffs and these wins don’t do us any good in the standings but FRICK Y’ALL I would rather see them go out with a bang than a whimper. 

AND WHAT AN EMPHATIC BANG.

Yeah I’m gonna stop using euphemisms for sex now. I was so prepared for vitriol and hate for the Ducks and their stupid faces and their stupid jerseys and their stupid win/domination of possession/shots on goal (look I always prepare for the worst, I’m terrible) that I literally don’t know what to write about now that we’ve won.

I have to ask; what is Merrin's fascination with Captain Jelly Bean's nose? I am genuinely curious

I don’t understand this question so I’m just going to respond with a bunch of pictures of said nose and ask you if you could resist. Some people have a thing for hands and eyes and jawlines and while I like all of those things, I also have a thing for a great nose. He’s got a great nose. His profile is great. GREAT.

It’s neither too big nor too small and (to date) has not been marred by hockey injury. It’s probably coming because he’s a fighter and doesn’t like to wear a visor, but until then I’m just gonna revel in it.

Well Stars fans, you’ve made it through Round One of the Why So Star-ious Tournament of Heartbreak and Elation. Some of this is fun, some of this makes me want to cry, some of this makes me want to drink, and some of this makes me want to drive to Dallas to burn sage in the Stars’ locker room and purge the evil spirit that is clearly residing there.
