This is an Actual Thing that happened yesterday:
One of my 9th grade girls was being squirrel-y and annoying and not sitting down and doing her warm up. So I said, “Girl SIT DOWN and get to work or I’ll have [the admin] take you out personally!” To which she said, “give me a sec!” At which point I snapped and said “GIVE YOU A SEC?! WEVE BEEN IN CLASS 10 MINUTES, YOUVE HAD PLENTY OF SECS!!”
Needless to say...it was impossible to move on after that 😂
