As much as they say they won’t die for each other we all know it’s bullshit. They’ve proven that time and again by jumping into danger to protect each other. Theo is the worst because part of him still feels like his life is worth less than Liam’s. So of course he’ll put his own life on the line if it means keeping Liam safe. Liam hates it and is constantly reassuring Theo that his life does matter, in his own way of course. At the end of the day he’s just as willing to put his life on the line for Theo. Eventually they stop being idiots and admit they do care and would do anything to protect each other. Theo might toe the line about about how far he’s willing to go to protect Liam but Liam is there to pull him back.
