Imagine... Holding Zanka's hands while sitting next to eachother at the dinner table; your hands were just underneath the table just enough for people to not notice.

His hands were cold, it always was— from the moment you asked to hold his hand, from the moment you started to make it a habit. You noticed that his hands were unusually cold, you might even say that holding his hands were like holding a corpse's hand.

You did at some point— you let go of his hand because it was already cold without holding his hand, but when you held his hand the cold temperature got even colder. You physically filnched your hand away from him.

He noticed and side eyed you.

"What the hell was that for?"

"Nothing, it's just that your hands are really cold"

He scoffed and snatched your hand again, you yelped but you didn't argue any longer. "I thought you said you didn't like physical touch..."

"Tch— so what? You're the one who started to hold my hand, I'm just finishin' it"

You smiled and squeezed his hand.

Even though he didn't like physical touch— he started to change his mind the moment you were the one engaging with it.

To the point that he didn't notice that he was the one who started to reach out to your touch now.

So, when Rudo's spoon dropped, he went to get it and saw the two of you holding hands underneath the table. He gasped and bumped his head on the table.

He quickly rose up.

"Th— they're!—"

Riyo covered his mouth as fast as she could and motioned him to keep his mouth shut. She smiled tightly, "Wow, that's a big bump there Rudo, how about you sit down and rest?"
