Claude François is definitely one of the weirdest French celebrities and prob the most flamboyant. Like I didn’t even have any idea who he was until my bf told me but he’s an icon in France lol?
Apparently he was their version of the Beatles except all in one. Just a fashionable singing and dancing talent who got his eyebrows done and wore luxurious clothing except he was straight somehow and had several women simping for him despite the fact that he was a manlet with hair that looked like a cloud.
He almost died after fans tried to shoot him and nearly got bombed in an IRA attack. Then one day in 1978 while bathing he stood up and tried to adjust a light fixture and he was electrocuted to death at the age of 39.
My bf always warns me when I dry my hair to not get electrocuted like Claude bc I’m clumsy but once when I was using the bathtub in Monaco I did the exact same thing and I burnt my hand LMAO Claude moments 💅🏽
