"Hey..." Claudia purred into Marcus's ear from behind. "Why don't you and I get out of this bar? I'll show you a good time." She gently clawed his back, hoping he wouldn't say no.

Marcus downed the shot of tequila in front of him and put the glass upside down like the others on the counter. He was a little startled at her approach, but couldn’t say he didn’t like the attention. The alcohol didn’t work against her on that one either, he thought through the foggy blur in his mind. He slowly turned around to take a look at her. Well, she was good looking, which was a huge plus. Not that he would’ve said no to anyone at this hour. “I bet you can show me a lot more than that,” he said and bit his lip as he looked her over once more.

“I’m coming over, then. You’ll both be fine, okay?”

"Can you help me..?" Claudia begged over the phone as she held a crying baby. "Evelynn is really sick and nothing I do can stop her from crying..."

“Sick? Hun I dunno if I can help, that sounds like she needs a doctor...”
