Noah knew little about Rachel’s time at the Choke, and he’d never pressed it. He’d asked her once, what it was like, and the far off ( almost DEAD ) look in her eyes was enough to prompt him to never broach the subject again. In Noah’s mind, it didn’t matter. She was away from it now, and they were together again, as they were always meant to be. It was time for her to H E A L, and move on from the war that she was apart of, and the last thing he wanted was for her to continue to relive it.
He, of course, had no idea that she’d fallen into the arms, and found comfort in that of another, and for now ignorance was truly BLISS.
He and Rachel split up around 20 minutes ago, her running off to the face paint booth and a brief PINKY PROMISE to buy the best food she could with the coins she earned. Now, Noah was wandering around rather aimlessly. Matt was off Gods knew where ( probably with Garnet, ) and no other familiar faces were in sight. Fucking fantastic.
He came to a stop in front of some stand, his eyes squinting as he struggled to make out the words. He’d attended school until the accident; until he started to support Matthew, refusing to let his brother leave at such a young age. He could read, just not very well. He grabbed the first person near him, rather frustrated that he had to ask for help.
