as in an audition tape? oh yes! But, from what M has said in public in the past, a chat show doesn't interest her.
Yeah I know she doesn’t seem that interested, but I quite liked her idea for a show here:
“There are so many things in comedy and acting I want to do. Though having a late-night show isn’t necessarily a grand ambition or anything, but if the opportunity came along, then yeah, sure, I would be game. I have done a couple of shows on the BBC as host, and some have included interviews. I always try and subvert a genre in some way, make it unique to me, so I would find a way to do a show like that a little differently whilst maintaining its heritage. I am not giving away my ideas or secrets here, though! But I think a woman brings a slightly gentler approach to the interviews—they become more chatty, more like old friends catching up rather than guests trying to show off with their best anecdotes. So I think I would sit people down with a nice cup of tea and cozy up on a sofa together and get them to tell me everything! It would be funny and there would be a riotous side, but we’d also see people in a more open, honest, and natural way.”

I read it as John's guilt. I mean, he did just kill a man in cold blood. The cabbie wasn't actually threatening Sherlock. Sherlock could've LEFT the room at any time. John is an everyman and has a conscience, not a superhero, and he would have felt guilt over this killing. (Army docs do NOT go out killing the enemy, the take care of the sick and injured). I actually find/found the whole notion of the three principles being killers a major downer from Mofftiss.

future - it get better w/ each episode so by the end, you’re hooked on it. It’s quite a dispassionate inquiry into hierarchy, religion, man’s nature and etc.
Hmm, it might just not be my jam, honestly. I spent four years of undergrad having to take religion classes, I don’t know how I feel about dealing with it in a show that I don’t necessarily have to watch. XD

I have no idea. For me, a single wallpaper pattern doesn’t mean much. The more interesting bit starts when there are more patterns. Meaning grows out of context but here we lack a lot of context, we are not entirely sure where this kitchen is. Based on the style of the pattern it would not be completely out of character as the kitchen in Mycroft’s secret bunker office, yet his behaviour rather looks like a man coming home after a very very long day at work.
Arok is trashy and posh at the same time. It looks a bit like shabby tiling but has gold accents in it. It is certainly an odd choice. Squares are not an odd choice for a kitchen, but the walls also clash with the style of the floor tiles. It is a very odd choice.
Especially since (apart from rooms we’ve seen before) this is the only patterned wallpaper in the entire episode. The dead boy’s house had plain walls, as did Ella’s new office. Something is off.

i’m somewhere between reading those flashes as john being tricked into thinking he shot mary vs. john not feeling like he's the person who shot the cabbie to save sherlock
