I was thinking of whump for animalistic characters and/or ones with clawed fingers that don't just centre around declawing. Like, maybe whumpee constantly has cuts on their hands from keeping their fingers in a fist to avoid hurting anyone, or waking up from a bad nightmare and shredding the sheets like tissue paper.
Whumpees with Claws
Caretaker sees Whumpee’s claws are so long that they’re curling into their hands/feet/paws, making it hard to walk or do anything with the affected digits; so Caretaker offers to trim them
Accidentally slashing Caretaker with their claws because they got startled bonus points if they’re horrified after
De-clawing
Scratching the days they’ve survived on the wall, a tree, or a wooden cabinet
Claws getting ripped out when attacking someone because the angle they went in the flesh was awkward
Whumpee has an allergic reaction to something and gets so itchy that they scratch themselves raw
