He had his gear in a bag, dressed like a civilian for now but still armed. He didn’t think she wanted attention called to them for this, and sometimes the paps followed him when he was in his Arsenal gear.

His entire life had changed overnight when he’d agreed to stay. Roy spent half his time pacing in the room he was renting thinking over the consequences, and the other half in unrestful sleep, until he finally just got up.
He’d smoked half a pack by the time he decided to suit up and visit Cheshire.
Roy’s intentions were to tell her to go fuck herself for keeping their daughter from him, for robbing him of a gr with her. He knocked on the door and waited.
When Jade was done with her conversation with Lian she stepped out of her room into the hallway and ran into Roy.
Once she closed the door she looked at him. She looked very different, both physically with her hair but she didn't look angry, she looked sorry.

Roy didn’t know how to react to it. He’d never seen her quite like this. So his hackles were up, and he asked her, “Gods, what happened now?” assuming it was something bad.
She sent Roy a text not knowing it was a different Roy

Jade usually gets out of bed before roy when she stays over but she was still laying next to him when he woke up. Whe was faced away and she moved slightly as she breathed
