@snasasecretnasa: I Adore her design! If I may, what is the evolutionary reason behind having a fake(?) mouth? Where does she actually take in food? And does her species/culture apply makeup in different places/differently than ours? (I hope I’m not bugging you, I just love her design and am very curious!)
Thank you for the questions! This is from a dream I had, so not thought out at all. But I’ll try to expand on it for the hell of it! Shes cute and deserves it.
Shes a member of an alien species who arrived long after Earths struggles with pollution effects, they have since fully integrated with the remaining society. Their species is in no way responsible for humanities survival though. They are from a similar situation.
So Misa lives on a future Earth but its very cold climate now, brought on by an iceage event. People travel by long distance railway travel across tundras to different cities. Tech is still advancing and humans are still livin but the climate is cold and polluted so everyone mainly stays in city bubbles, where they can isolate and clean the air. Human workers wear protective gear outside cities, like you would in a radiation zone. Misa wears it as a uniform but doesnt need the protection bc the pollution doesnt affect her.
As for makeup shes wearing retro 2000s makeup (Im boring lol).
Im still deciding about her anatomy but I think internally shes like clay. Mineral based, and needs to stay hydrated. Her skin protects from that, which is why she keeps her mouth sealed so she doesnt dry out. She can eat more clay to fill up and regenerate. Her body hardens up if she isnt active, and if its exposed she is at risk of molding or drying out and getting crumbly. Her skin is mottled with rust and other weather affects, and she really works to take care of her face to make it look smooth.
This is all a little silly bc Im just riffin on a dream that probably cant be rationalized but idk its a fun thought exercise there it is.
