Super Helpful Tip for Keeping Salt off your Leather Boots

I've used this a few times now and it works so well. It's also really cheap and easy to do. It also makes your boots look brand spanking new. 

FIrst, make sure they're clean, salt free, and dry (clean it off with a solution of 1 part white vinegar 2 parts water, works like a charm for me)

Second, rub vaseline (aka petroleum jelly) into the leather and let the jelly kind of soak in (be generous, you can always wipe off excess with a dry paper towel later)

Third, have fun stepping in snow without getting salt stains and repeat as necessary :)

*not sure how this works or if it does on faux leather though...
