S/O to pansexuals for existing and being amazing and having endless patience for having their sexuality conflated with bisexuality and being erased from intra-community conversations.

S/O to pansexuals who get sneered at for being “sexuality hipsters” and having an identity that’s not fits-neatly-in-a-slot the way mainstream sexuality discourse would prefer.

And where it applies, s/o to pansexuals for being so good about tearing into notions of conformity and queer assimilation, y’all make me feel safer knowing you’re out there.

What was it?

Masque of the Red Death by Wendy Pini (co-creator of Elfquest). I was reminded the other day about a small kerfuffle that broke out when someone pointed out that the comic bore striking resemblance to Colleen Doran’s A Distant Soil (which Pini’s label once published and tried to claim all rights to before Doran left and took the copyright with her). I’ve never found the time to binge through the vast backlogs of Elfquest or A Distant Soil, but my morbid curiosity about the webcomic (and its less-than-stellar feedback) led me to go through it.

It’s crap. Really crap.

Do you like to cook? I just moved into my new apartment, & I'm starting to cook again. It's starting to feel like my home..

I really don’t enjoy it.  But I enjoy eating once I have cooked!  And I feel accomplished if I do so much as boil pasta.  If I had more wherewithal I’d cook more often and might get to where I enjoyed it, but the executive dysfunction is pretty nasty and makes it hard to do.

I hope you are nicely settled in to the new place!

These are all things I associate with you, too! The History Museum is definitely one of my favorite memories of you, and we are going back to the Ale House when I see you again!! :)
