Just woke up. Did my exercise after I let myself wake up and cool off a lil while (getting real warm already up here).

DD was 30 half wipers. A fun one. Always wind up shimmying across floor with each rep, with this one, though. :,D

Day 5 of the SCP was done at Level 1, 1' rest. My aaarms, the odd days are kicking their butt. The cardio and impact work remains "soft" but it's really testing my arms' endurance a bit (and making me have to consider my pacing more for sustainability).

Day 5 of the 50[K]PUC was 10+4+4 push-ups. Given how intensive SCP's been on the arms, it is giving me pause and more rest time in between the 2 things. Still doable on knees, but also tough.

Gonna situate some leftovers and try to write a bit, at some pt.

Pretty much just woke up and did my exercise.

DD was 30 crunch kicks (reclined, propped up on elbows.) Very fun and doable one, in one go.

Day 4 of the SCP was done at Level 2, 1' rest. Okay, this was super satisfying to entrain to the tempo of the music I was listening to. A highlight was bbno$ & ironmouse's "1-800". :,D

(The fun over interval-based cardio regimens.)

Day 4 of the 50[K]PUC was 8+4+2 push-ups. Still doable, not super easy though~

I require food and then I need to determine what else to do for the day.

Instead of napping or getting to bed at a reasonable hour, I'm still awake. Somehow.

This is a cranberry bog (unflooded) it’s how cranberries grow. Once they’re ripe, the blog is flooded and the cranberries harvested.

Basically by using big floaty things to round them all up and then scooping them out of the water.

oh here is a fun lil perspective on cranberry harvesting i never heard about anywhere else. the guy who owns the restaurant right down the road from the farm, who fries our chickens sometimes, is from Boston, with the strongest Boston accent ever, and in a former life before he started slinging reasonably priced barbeque and occasional organic chicken, he was a cranberry farmer.

His farm was on the leading edge of kinda using organic/sustainable pest control methods, and one of the things that they did to keep insect damage down was that they encouraged wolf spiders to live in the cranberry field, to eat the bugs.

This was all fine and good until they flooded the bog. Now, you don’t just like flood the bog and then go around it in a boat or whatever. No, you use hip waders to get in there and put the big floaty things where they go and get all the berries and such.

Well when you’re in the bog in hip waders, that makes you the tallest thing. Wolf spiders can swim a bit, but they don’t like it, so they’re, quite understandably, looking to climb out of the water onto a tall thing.

So yeah the first interview question he always asked potential cranberry bog harvester hires was “are you cool with spiders?”

“You’d be amazed,” he said to us, shaking his head a little, “how many guys would just straight lie. Like, you think I’m asking you that question to be cute? Nah man you’re gonna have like a hundred wolf spiders trying to climb your eyebrows, you gotta be chill, those wolf spiders are fellow employees. You really gotta be chill with spiders if you’re gonna work a cranberry harvest.”

Did sleep. Underslept.

Went to appt and ate some food during the outing.

Fairly soon after returning, did my exercise.

DD was 50 bicep extensions. Probably shoulda tacked this on last, but oh well. Very manageable.

Day 3 of the SCP was done at Level 1, 1' rest. Arms and overall energy levels were too low to push it. Involved more bicep extensions, pffft. I want to say the days where it's like 1' of each exercises + 1' rest per set days are a bit more intense than shorter intervals. :Ic

Day 3 of the 50[K]PUC was 3x10" push-up plank holds, 20" rest. Continuing to do this on my knees. Fairly intense, but I appreciate what's happening.

Now deciding what to do next. Napping sounds tempting, in all honesty.

Anxious. More about getting there on time than anything else.

Weighing whether pulling an allnighter to make sure i get there is worth it compared to risking sleeping through alarm. :P
