why did i think that cleansing showers were different to a normal shower?

now, i'm not usually one to cleanse with water, i hate swimming and i hate baths. showers, however, are fast, efficient, and i always feel a weight off my shoulders once i step out.

unfortunately for me, with my chronic pain, showers can render me useless and bed ridden for days. so there's a lot of prep ahead of time and a seat to sit on.

anyway, my first shower cleanse was only different in that i'm not just intentionally thinking "wash the literal filth and sweat off" as i'm washing myself, i'm also adding to that with "and wash away the negative energies clinging to me, wash away the filthy energy clinging to me".

and then i step out feeling just as good. no need for special anointed soap or shampoo, no crystals, no herbs. although maybe i add a cleansing crystal in the shower for future shower cleanses, you know, for funsies and enhanced cleansing. so here it is
