“Well, I mean, I did it. So it’s definitely not a joke.”
“I guess you could call it a musing because I wanted to see how it would look, so I did it. And now, I’m amused.”

“I guess you could call it a musing because I wanted to see how it would look, so I did it. And now, I’m amused.”

“I swear to God Ottoman.” Never was Fern’s general blood lust more clear than when she was... well in the middle of killing someone but being as livid as she was in that moment was a pretty close second. “If you wanna fucking go, let’s go.”

Meg had been watching the man for a while. It couldn’t be helped, his behavior was very curious. Whatever it was--he didn’t appear to be having much luck. “I’m sorry, what exactly is it you are trying to do?”

“You better put that down.”

“Well I’m sure as hell not going to blame myself.” Fern snapped rubbing her nose as the smells of the forest assaulted her senses, she hated unfamiliar places. She was heedless of Dewey’s nervousness focusing mainly on her own discomfort.
“It sure as heck wasn’t mine.”

“Not being a complete and total ass. It’s almost like there is an actual person in that metal suit of yours.”

“Or- and correct me if I’m wrong- you can learn to KNOCK!”
Fern was mostly dressed but really didn’t have a problem her current state of undress, she honestly didn’t understand the importance society placed on if you are a woman to be covered up at all times, never mind her torso was covered in reminders of her childhood- or lack thereof. It was the lack of knocking that irked her.
“If you didn’t notice the lock’s busted but had this situation been reversed you’d have expected me to knock.” Fern went back to looking for a shirt, the last three she had put on just didn’t feel comfortable even though she had worn them quite often before.
