Clear Days
Cold clear days
Fall at our feet
As the sleet threatens
On the edge of tomorrow;
Soon there will be no sorrow
In my again,
Until then,
I am just trying my best.

File under: I’ve treated elsewhere with “Circus of Heaven” as perhaps the worst classic-era Yes tune, and that’s a different thing, but might “Clear Days” be the most *obscure* of the band’s tunes through their peak era? If it’s not, it’d be something from the first two albums, certainly, something that wasn’t released as a single, something that wasn’t reissued on Yesterdays, something that wasn’t a cover, and something that didn’t have a bonus track version from Rhino.
Think it’s this song.
