causing you to feel you're not.

it's not some sort of defect

at the tunnel's end

keep on looking straight ahead

and imagine the end point.

North Atlantic Coast

rocky spoils flee to the sea

and waves learn to splash

in mighty crescending crash

among dangerous beauty.

Perfect key lime pie

balances tart citrus notes,

sweet creamy flavor

as heaven touches the earth

lightly in your eager mouth.

on the valley road of choice

no coin stands on edge

beyond the old wobbly fence

winners or losers must stand.

eternity slipping by

love is sometimes messy yech

that you must tackle

when there is no one to help

provide all the tender care.

appearing gather here now

to take daily bows

on an Internet platform

reaching way beyond the stars.

Hallowed bell sounding

deep within surrounding fog

a frightful warning

to a young lad not sleeping

in the middle of the night.

Born to follow Christ,

no one else is worth the cause,

the only champion

capable of trouncing sin

providing true holiness.

Holy of holies

beyond the torn viel waiting

the presence of God

longing for mankind's embrace

through the sacrifice of Christ.

Day seven, God rests

we couldn't imagine the work

it took to create

so we disturbed his rest

by demanding salvation.

Passing through winter

to embrace the warm spring thaw,

and yellow finches

molt, regain their bright feathers.

offering ears and prayers.

A spreading illness
