Id like to think that Koujaku is a horrid cook and sadly so is Aoba so when they both try to cook they just end up ordering take out after beni and ren tell them they suck.
Omg yes I can imagine they’re both horrible at the start with Aoba always eating Tae’s food and Koujaku inviting himself over like it even says that his favorite food is Tae’s home choked meals he probably can’t even work a toaster but then imagine Aoba asking Tae to teach him how to cock because he’s supposed to be a responsible adult dammit also he’s getting tired of takeout so he starts making the food at home and Koujaku’s just super happy about it all cause he thinks they’re acting more and more like a married couple or something plus Aoba looks cute in an apron and he eats all his food no matter how shitty it is and it’s slowly improving and it’s all good

omy god SAME i tried reading the book but it was soo slow..i saw the musical on broadway when iwas younger tho and itwas incredible0_0
the novel was very disappointing. it had a somewhat interesting concept yet i felt the storytelling was poorly done and the pacing was painfully bad?? i'd rather see the musical esp with all of the high praises it has received.
