Q. Since the WiMax service I've been using for my home broadband is going away in early November, can I get an unlimited wireless-broadband plan like that from somebody else? I do not need TV service...

In this usatoday column, I had to disappoint a reader who was hoping to replace her unlimited Clear WiMax residential broadband with another unlimited wireless connection. Sorry, you can’t buy such a thing these days. That leaves cable and DSL as the only realistic option, and if you need a reasonably fast connection even DSL is generally out. Happy with that state of affairs?
