An appreciation post to the only boy that has me wrapped around his finger

This month, my godson turned five. And with a bittersweet voice, I turned to his parents and asked, “Do you ever get sad that Jace is growing up so fast?” Because I do 🥺 My mind travels back to this time of Jace, Ninang, and baby books. Then, not too long afterwards, we’re learning how to pronounces our B sounds…T sounds…now K sounds. We have conquered colors. And we have conquered counting. Runinng…Well, we’re working on it. Jace teaches Ninang about Monster Jam Trucks, his outfits, new dance moves, and baseball. Although he now knows how to be sneaky, Jace is also aware that his aunties know better when it comes to time for: school, baseball schedules & games, nap time, food choices, and accidents.. So here’s to what we grow into next 🤪
