Saxon Halloween 2007

My brother's costume this year. If you've been around the internet enough, you should know this. If not, google image "helmet cat". He called me around noon and asked, "You know Helmet Cat, right?" It was really last minute and ended up a group effort. I worked on mauling and painting a basketball for the helmet while he and our mother worked on the face and paws. The long hair fur ended up coming from a $1 stuffed animal in the discount bin at Walmart. I think it turned out hilarious. Hopefully there's enough internet users at the party he's going to. ;-)

So I've come back from a dog walk only to be left super confused. There was a package for me and I haven't been expecting anything. I look on the label and it says something about containing the contents of a hat. Don't ask me how, but just reading hat thing on the description, it was enough to get me rushing to open up that box, hurrying so much in fact I hurt one of my nails getting it open. But who cares about nearly pulling a nail off, because my fandom senses didn't fail me, despite not even knowing I was going to get it, but I did:

 I HAVE A CLEMENTINE HAT!!!

The mystery thing is though I have no idea who it came from. It got shipped all the way over from America a few days before Christmas. It's from Zazzle Inc. who make custom merchandise, and the printed signature on the box is Laura Duke, but I'm not sure if that's just someone at Zazzle Inc. or the actual person that sent it to me, and I am really terrible at remembering names, especially online >.< I still got a few more friends to check with on skype to see if it got ordered from them, but I'm still just freaking out right now. I've wanted a Clementine hat for ages and I feel so happy and confident wearing it right now.
