Jucika, that perky modern miss with the knowing smile & the legs for miles, forever finds herself swept into the sort of scrapes that make eyebrows twitch & tongues wag. Each strip has her navigating a world thick with wolf whistles, wandering hands, & the maddening assumptions of men who think a wink is an invitation, all rendered with a sly, satirical twirl. What makes it such a gas, though, is the way the joke’s usually on them: Jucika sees the game for what it is, skewers the double standards with a flick of her lashes, & now & then turns all that unwanted attention to her own advantage… cool as a cucumber, sharp as a pin, & very much the girl of the moment.
