Thank you for asking! My favorite book, as odd as this may sound, is called The Hoennenian Encyclopedia by C. Payne- its a book that details all of the areas and climates in Hoenn as well as the Pokémon in full color photographs and illustrations. I used to read it a lot as a child as it sat on the coffee table in the living room in the house I grew up in- and I didn’t have much else to do so I lost myself in the landscapes of Hoenn. Unfortunately I couldn’t take it to Paldea when I moved, and my research on it shows it’s a rare book- but one day I’ll own it again, I know it:)

Pokémon biologists of Rotumblr- I have a question.

There’s been a fire type (it seems) Pokémon in my gardens lately, I keep finding charred pebbles and occasionally burnt olives and tomatoes everywhere, and there are burn lines on the dirt and on my plants.

I’ve only seen it once but as a non-native to Paldea I had no clue what it was- as soon as I came out to see it it ran away in a blur of white, leaving char lines behind it. What Pokémon is this? And how can I discourage it from charring up my gardens? I’d know how to deal with it if I knew what it was-but I’m kind of at a loss here.

Finally got a picture of the mystery Pokémon!! I had to stay up pretty late with a camera, lol, but they ended up showing up on the farm again tonight! Any idea what it could be?:)

Wait hold on what wtf did your dad do

The detective told me that he was very high up in Johto’s “Rocket” mob, and after talking with said detective for a few hours, he came to the conclusion that sometime after I had left home for Paldea, that branch of the mob was brought down, leading my father to flee.

I was also given an extensive list of his crimes, and the detectives asked me about my home life as well, hoping that I could provide evidence against him. However, I remember very little from that period of my life.

Hello all! I’m so sorry that I haven’t been active here for a while- there’s been an ongoing police investigation that I’ve been swept into for the past month or so.

Apparently, my father is a confirmed criminal back in Johto, which came as a massive shock, especially considering that I haven’t seen him since I was a teenager. Either way, he’s gone missing, and I was approached about it.

As of right now, I am conducting interviews with a detective and another court official sporadically while still maintaining my farm-any local Cortondo kids who want to battle me/play on the farm, please make sure there aren’t any foreign vehicles in the drive before coming to pick produce!

It’s been pouring for a while now, so much so that some Ducklett have decided to hang out in the massive puddle in the middle of my front garden, haha!

Ahhh I just adopted the sweetest Budew from @professor-amaryllis and she’s so adorable, look at her!
