The most beautiful Library in the world, Clementinum in Prague

Clementinum. x
The baroque Library Hall in the Clementinum, a complex of historical buildings in Prague.
According to legend, the Jesuits had only one book when they began building the library in 1622, but by the time they'd finished it, they had 20,000. The bookshelf labels are the same ones from the library's opening, and so are the volumes with “whitened backs and red marks,” markers left by the Jesuits.
