Memorize away, son! 🤣
oh best costume from last night that i forgot to mention:
this harry potter looking kid comes to the door in regular clothes but he’s got a quill pen and a piece of paper that says Contract
I asked him what was in the contract
he paused for a second and then said why don’t you sign it and find out?
i declined making a Faustian deal with a child demon on Halloween
Favorite Things
At dinner time each night we ask each other “What was your favorite thing that happened today?”.
Me: B, what’s your favorite thing from today?
B: My favorite thing.
Me: Yeah, what was your favorite thing?
B: My favorite thing IS my favorite thing!
Me: Right so, not talking about your favorite thing, is your favorite thing?
B: Yup.
From a CBR newsletter from Brian Cronin:

In this newsletter, I'll share some of my knowledge of comic book history with you. Now that Superman has been in the movie theaters for close to a month, I'm going to do a special WEEK'S worth of Superman-themed newsletters! Five brand-new newsletters every day this week! We start with the surprising pop superstar whose name came, indirectly, from Superman!
How Did Kenny Loggins' Name Come Indirectly From Superman?
Well, in 1947, Bobby Loggins was six years old. His mother was pregnant with another child, and her due date was awfully close to Bobby's birthday on January 7, 1948. Therefore, at Christmas 1947, Bobby's father, Robert George Loggins, promised him that if his younger sibling ended up being born on Bobby's birthday, that Bobby could name the child.
And sure enough, just a few hours after Bobby celebrated his 7th birthday, his mother went into labor. True to his word, Robert allowed little Bobby to name his brother, and Bobby went with Clark Kent Loggins.
While initially willing to go along with the deal, Robert worked on his little son (as Kenny Loggins would later note, his father WAS a gifted salesman), and so Bobby agreed for them to flip the order, putting Clark to the middle name, and then adapting Kent into Kenneth.
And so Clark Kent Loggins became Kenneth Clark Loggins, Kenny for short, and the rest, as they say, is history.
By the way, speaking of Loggins' brothers and presents, one of Loggins' most iconic songs, "Danny's Song," was written for his YOUNGER brother, Danny, who had his first child while still in high school. So Kenny wrote the song as a gift to his brother.
My 7 years old brother ask me what was the name of one of his toys and then said his name is "smart" ( we speak french so I was a bit impressed) and then he asked me for his last name And guess what, this is "ties", his name is "smarties" ! My brain just stopped cuz I though wow what a genius kid, knowing words in a foreign language AND then I told myself WHAT A FUCKIN WONDERFUL KID, he tricked me !
