DW hates Hennon but imagine if DW's like a Henir Lady or something and her body's going to be used so Henir can descend on Elrios?
They keep telling her it’s an honour to be the Lady of Darkness.
Aisha is more than a little against the whole matter.
She may be a master of time and space, but to be abducted against her will and thrown into “the highest position within the cloister of Henir” is a little terrifying.
Hennon comes, day after day, to try and scare her into submission, but Aisha has learned to deal with him. He snarls at her, she smiles back innocently. He swings his arm at her, she freezes him in place and walks away.
They chose her for this role because she was the most powerful. Aisha is going to use that to her advantage for as long as she can.
“Three days until we bring forth the mighty Henir,” Hennon tells her one day, after she teleports safely into the rafters of her room/prison. “Then you will see why we chose you.”
Aisha really hopes her friends will get her message before then.
She does not want to be the sacrificial lamb that brings about the apocalypse.
DW x DE "the fuck? Who are you?"
Diabolic Esper turned around to face the purple mage behind him and let out a frustrated growl.
“The fuck? Who are you?” Esper asked while trying to maintain his cool. That should count for something? Right? Right?!
And it’s not like they’d notice her missing from.. wherever she came from. He frowned at the thought. Where did this girl come from?
“I’m you but stronger.” Dimension Witch answered the male in front of her with a smirk gracing her features.
Continuation of this please, thank you! post/165027616020/all-elgang-members-are-their-dark-path-not There's been lotsa DW lately~ Continuation where DW has to smack them back in place with more important affairs. (Like property destruction in villages)
(Previous post here)
“We’re terribly sorry about that, Edel,” Aisha apologizes, grimacing. “We didn’t mean to-”
“The reactor’s ruined!” Edel fumes, rubbing her temples. “I knew it. Trouble follows you Elgang around like a plague, doesn’t it?”
“It’s not that bad,” Aisha tries to protest. The reactor chooses that moment to let out a loud, low grumble. She winces.
“Um… it’s fixable?”
The reactor collapses in a shower of sparks and energy that makes Aisha stagger back for a moment and nearly black out. When she comes back to consciousness, Rena is silently holding her upright, and Elsword is scoffing at Edel.
“Oh, come on. It was bound to happen sometime.”
Aisha was reaching for her staff before she even thought about it.
SMACK!
Elsword yelped, rubbed his head, and shot a glare at Aisha. “Ah… right. We’ll fix it for you.”
Sometimes Aisha wondered why she even stayed with this group.
post/164865731012/post164762513742dw-hates-hennon-but-imagine-if-dw -exhales- I need more. This is so amazing. Continuation for it again *w* for all the branches where in heads, Aisha struggles with the power she didn't know she had. Tails, the elgang arrives too late, what'll happen when they see her? Edge, the summon was actually completed, Henir visits in her dreams.
While fate is a coin toss, life is a game.
There’s a board game illustrating this principle, but Aisha hates it. She knows how fragile a life can be. Unlike the board game, the players are not in control of life.
Life is a game of odds. Like the coin toss, there’s always a chance that anything can happen, does happen, will happen. No one can prevent fate from flipping its coin, rolling its die, whatever. There is love, and then there is loss, and then there is only heartbreak and suffering.
Life is a cruel, cruel game, and the only escape from it is death.
heads
She stares at her own hands in shock, stares at the crater she sits in, looks at the destruction she’s caused.
Hennon and the other zealots of Henir are gone. The dark essence of the area has been cleansed altogether.
Aisha knows there is only one force who is powerful enough to counteract Henir in such a way, one primordial deity whose sheer presence is enough to cleanse the darkness in the world.
“Thank you, Elia,” she says, flexing her fingers and feeling arcane power drift between her fingertips. “I will do my best to use your gift for good.”
Excellent, the cosmic voice of Elia hums. The world could use a little more balance.
And she is. Aisha will become the balance that Elrios so desperately needs, even if it kills her.
tails
“Aisha?”
“No.” Henir smiles through her lips, speaks in her voice, but the venom it carries is not hers. “Bow before me, you laughable mortals. I am Henir. I am the void itself.”
Not-Aisha looks upon the field of destruction in triumph. With Aisha’s arsenal of spells and Henir’s immense arcane power, the Elgang was decimated in no time. Bits of blood and broken bones and scraps of fabric line the ground where they once stood. A few shards of metal are stuck in nearby trees.
What once were Aisha’s friends are now nothing.
“That’ll teach them to stand in my way,” not-Aisha crows. “Come at me, Elia. How many more pawns are you willing to sacrifice before you stop being a coward and fight me?”
She laughs to herself. “Ah, right. You still have that one little pawn left, the one Ishmael gave you. Too bad he wasn’t vaporized along with the rest of his little friends.”
The purple in Aisha’s eyes finally fade away to a lightless black. “As if he’ll be enough to stop me,” she murmurs.
And no one will.
on the edge
There are voice in her dreams.
Sweet girl, don’t you want more power? It cooes. Aren’t you willing to pursue more?
“Not when my friends are endangered,” Aisha growls, taking a defensive stance. The dreamscape is all dark, unlike her normal dreams, and while she does have control, it’s highly limited. “You won’t hurt them.”
The voice laughs at her. Oh, but I can and I will, it says, manifesting in the form of the worst kind of monster-herself. Watch me tear you and your friends apart. Watch me rip your friends to pieces.
The dark tendrils of Henir’s power begin to coil themselves around Aisha, and she is powerless to stop them. “No,” she insists, willing her muscles to move, to push them away, anything. “You can’t. I’m stronger than you are.”
Ah, but of the two of us, who is the indestructible weaver of time and space, and who is the little girl with measly powers?
Aisha screams and sits up.
The room is dark, but soon the door opens and there’s Eve with a light, and Ara right behind her. “We heard you scream,” Ara says breathlessly. “Is everything alright?”
They watch in terror as Aisha breaks into tears. “Please stay with me,” she sobs, as they come in to hold her.
“I don’t want to dream anymore.”
Hehe, one of the Lu proposes that they switch Ciels for a day! What do the the multiple Ciel and Lu thinks once the day is over? Continuation for this post please, thanksies! post/163277163467/ciels-arguing-about-which-lu-is-better-bonus-if
(For the purposes of this ask, we’ll go with the Ciels being with the Lus they rooted for in this post - so DM with NB, DL with DA, and RG with CH.)
“It was a lot more stressful than I thought it would be,” Royal Guard admits at the end of the day. “Chiliarch is… energetic. Really energetic. And she doesn’t always communicate exactly what she wants. Hmm…. I feel kind of sorry for Dreadlord.”
“Royal Guard is a fantastic servant!” Chiliarch, on the other hand, is ecstatic. “He knelt down and apologized every time he did something wrong! It’s nice to be finally treated with the respect I deserve! Huhuhu, I’ll have to train Dreadlord just like Noblesse trained Royal Guard!”
Previously, Dreadlord had said that Diabla seemed honest. And he sticks to that. “She definitely says exactly what she’s thinking,” he admits, rubbing his cheek. “But, uh, she also is kind of prone to punishing you if you don’t do exactly what she wants… Jeez, I’ve been slapped more today than I think I ever have been in my life. I don’t envy Demonio.”
Diabla just sniffs when asked about Dreadlord’s behavior. “He’s coarse,” she says disparagingly. “And he’s been allowed to run far too free. I can’t whip him into shape in just one day. I’ll be glad to have my servant back.”
“She’s far nicer than Mistress,” Demonio says quietly of Noblesse. “I don’t have any complaints. She expects things to be done right, but she didn’t punish me when I made a mistake.”
“Where do I start with Demonio… He flinched every time I raised my hand.” Noblesse sighs and massages her temples. “Jeez. He’s a good Ciel, but he’s way too timid. I want Royal Guard back. He’s not afraid to speak up when I tell him to do something impossible.”
Continuation of the Imperial vs Rebellion! (post/162562983761/everyone-from-the-elgang-are-battling-their-own) The Transform is dragged and have to fight both Imperial and Rebellion! XD
Some more spacetime shenanigans occur and the transform classes are, very unceremoniously, dumped straight into the sparring matches of the other two El Search Parties. A quick introduction occurs after the spars are halted, and most of the transform classes are willing to spar as well. Though, to be fair, since the other two opponents have been quite worn out from battling each other, it’s somewhat of an unofficial 2v1 for most of the characters against the newcomers.
Infinity Sword is unfazed at having to fight two of his alternate selves. He might have two opponents, but he has hundreds of swords, so there’s more than enough to go around for the both of them. He does have to be be cautious at leaving his back open, but for the most part he directs streams of his swords for crowd control and forces the other two into where he wants them to be.
Dimension Witch throws the other two Aishas off guard at first. When she charges in for a melee attack, EM is frozen in place, forcing VP to intervene and block the hit. It’s a little shocking for the both of them to see DW fighting using Aisha’s rather sub-par strength, but her bursts of magic strengthen her attacks in ways that the other two never imagined. After EM and VP properly collect themselves, their spar becomes more like a light show, with all the various coloured magic balls fired everywhere.
Night Watcher has an air of arrogance about her that leaves the other two slightly irritated. However, WS finds out the hard way exactly why NW was so confident she could take on the two of them at once. There are traps everywhere. She makes it difficult for the two Renas to reunite and attack her together by setting her traps carefully. One false move and some vine has grabbed her in place, or something explodes under her, sending her to the ground. GA does her best to keep her distance and fire arrows, but NW excels at pouncing on her prey from afar.
Veteran Commander starts off rather passively, but as time goes on, the other two feel like his attacks are getting stronger and more violent. Though because his own system takes a toll on his health, VC sticks with his usual grenades and missiles for the most part, and only uses his more powerful skills when he’s either backed into a corner or confident he can do devastating damage.
Code: Battle Seraph hardly gives the other two a break with her constant barrage of lasers. Her Energy Needles chip away at the defenses of the other two. The fact that CBS seems to have an endless supply of energy and that they chase their targets almost indefinitely is difficult to deal with, and forces CEm to use her servants as a barricade while CN zips through the skies, trying her best to outrun the relentless lasers.
Tactical Trooper is a huge fan of his artillery, and this makes him quite slow and stationary compared to the other two. However, he’s also quite resilient, and as long as he has his various fields set up and is constantly firing away his infamous Siege Shelling, it’s quite difficult for the other two versions of himself to approach safely.
Asura goes into her incomplete Eun mode from the very start, giving her a sharp advantage in speed and energy. Her combat style is almost entirely feral, a sharp contrast from the elegant martial arts of the other two Aras. Eun’s claw swipes could knock down stone walls, so the other two have to navigate carefully to avoid being hit by those. Only with coordinated strikes are they able to stop Asura from one sidedly crushing them individually.
Crimson Avenger seems to hesitate about this sparring match at first, but soon a dark shadow falls over her eyes and she charges wildly into battle. CrA using her own health in battle shocks the other two, but they don’t have times to ask questions before another sawblade gets thrown at them. Because of this, she wears herself down thin quite quickly, since to heal she needs to do significant damage to her opponents, and her alternate selves are much more skilled than the average run of the mill demons she’s used to. Nevertheless, she still hits like a truck, even if there’s blood dripping from her mouth from internal bleeding, worrying the other two greatly.
Diabolic Esper would generally much rather just open a portal and go back to his own timeline than spar, but his other selves pique his interest enough for him to stay. He mostly just toys around with the other two, not really intending to do any real damage. Just enough dodging and harassment to incur their anger and to provoke them into using their skills. It’s pretty clear that all three of them are trying to analyse each other’s attacks, and it’s also pretty clear that whatever DE did to end up looking like a starved madman, his research is still probably the most advanced out of the three of them.
Diabla chooses to mess around in her normal form for a while, but then NB manages to land a hit on her, causing her to start cackling from pain. Just moments later, demonic energy starts to swirl around Demonio, and his transcendence form appears. Nothing they do to him makes him flinch, and he constantly chases after his enemies indiscriminately, forcing them to duck behind the poisonous garden he had created earlier. When he finally runs out of steam and gets subdued, the other four end up having a bigger problem on their hands, when a fully grown DB stands there, concentrating a massive amount of demonic energy, ready to fire a massive beam at any moment.
Apostasia impassively sends explosive orbs after the two of them. Whenever they get close, he erects a damage reflecting barrier that makes it dangerous to attack him. He almost lazily uses skill after skill, slowly corroding the ground under him into a field of swirling chaos. When he seems to have had enough, he tears open a portal in the area above him, with a powerful suction dragging the other two towards it, forcing them to use their strongest skills to force a triple knock-out. Many trees were harmed that day.
Some students from Aisha's school (pretend she was a student once) mock her for turning into DW despite her prowess in magic. El gang's reaction?
Elsword: “If it were anyone else, I would destroy them for teasing my friends, but… Yeah, Aisha’s got this.”
Aisha: “Haha, you’re funny! Weren’t you the asshole who dropped out? Let me show you what space magic is!”
Rena: “Humans can be so petty and mean. Once Aisha’s done beating them up, I’ll scold them.”
Raven: “As much as I hate to see bullying, I think Aisha has to deal with this herself. I’ll be backing her up if she needs it.”
Eve: “Analyzing. Tormentors are weak little pricks. Aisha has this in the bag.”
Chung: “Ugh-! Don’t try to tease someone as intelligent as Miss Aisha!”
Ara: “Hey! Don’t you kids have anything better to do? Shame on you!”
Elesis, patting Aisha on the head: “Yell if you need backup. Break their faces.”
Add: “If I cared, I might help her out. But I really don’t. Genius is always mocked.”
Lu: “How rude! Ciel, let’s teach those peasants a lesson!”
Ciel: “…. Yeah, Lu, I don’t think we need to get involved. Aisha can take care of herself.”
Ain: “I’ll follow Elsword’s lead, which seems to be staying out of the line of fire. So be it, then… Ouch, that looks painful. I pity anyone who attempts to mock Miss Magician.”
