an underrated sad part of aus closing is kiana and vidya's costume variations disappearing forever (I feel like kiana's especially is the best cleves costume six has had)
Yeah, I really liked Kiana's design!

What costume would you say has been standardised the least? Or has the most subtle changes/differences across productions?
@nataliemayparis, Paula Lobo
As far as everyone having the same basic version of the costume but with a couple major differences, Seymour's difference in bodices between US + UK-based productions is very noticeable. Different construction methods and necklines/cups.

As far as costumes currently in use irregardless of production, Cleves is standardized the least, in my opinion. The Broadway/Aragon Tour, West End/UKT alt, Australia/New Zealand Tour, cruises, and Jessica Niles in UKT are all wearing different style Cleves costumes right now. Broadway, Aragon Tour, West End, Grace Melville, and current cruise all use the closed jacket, but there are differences between Bway/AT/cruise (pictured top left on Brittney Mack) and WE/Grace (pictured top right on Dionne Ward-Anderson). And, despite having the closed jacket, cruises don't do a reveal. Then Jessica Niles is still in her old Breakaway 2.0 costume with the short boots (bottom left), which isn't currently in use for any other production (EDIT: she’s gotten reveal since queueing this). And Kiana Daniele is still in her initial Aus/NZ Cleves design (bottom right), which has never been worn by anyone else.

Howard has probably the most subtle variations across productions right now. You can see the UK here on Leesa Tulley (left), the US/cruise on Mallory Maedke (middle), and the Aus/NZ on Chelsea Dawson (right). Now that cruises have switched over to John Kristiansen, the construction, proportions, and fits are fairly standardized across all productions. Australia is the one with the biggest differences, but that’s pretty normal for Australia.
