I just wanna say that no matter what happens, even if they get smashed hard and lose the third match, I have never been more proud of CLG and the NA region. Even though I no longer play on NorthAmerica, NA > ALL for ever. I still have faith though.

Simon Says: CLG God dang did it.
Good lord CLG.
Where we you in the past international tournaments. This is the team we have been longing for. Since the start of season 6, there were many different roster swaps from all of the teams. Cloud 9 picking up Rush from TIP, Yellowstar to come for EU along with Huni and Reignover, Pobelter booted off CLG, the list goes on.
One of the swaps shocked me the most, Doubelift being kicked off of CLG and becoming the starting ADC for Team Solo Mid. When I first heard the news I couldn’t even believe it. It seemed like a joke. Doublelift was probably one of the main reasons why CLG was my favorite team over TSM. Don’t get me wrong CLG was still one of my favorite teams during the season, but losing one of their star players felt really odd to me. After hearing that Stixxay was going to replace Doublelift, I didn’t know how CLG would do in the regular season since he was a rookie coming from CLG’s challenger team, CLG Black. They were performing how I would expect a team to do with a new roster, they struggled a few times, then became the only team to defeat Immortals in the regular split. That one made me a bit impressed and sad, Immortals being my most favored team in the NA LCS. But they somehow managed to defeat Immortals and TSM to represent North America at the Mid-Season invitational.
After watching their performance thus far at MSI, if you told me SKT and CLG would be in the finals, I wouldn’t have believed you. I honestly didn’t think they would make it out of groups, but they beat EVERY single team atleast once. They were the first team to defeat RNG during the group stages, where did this CLG come from? After they got into the semi’s I knew they could make it into the finals, they didn’t have to play against the top dogs SKT or RNG. They had an easier route playing against the Flash Wolves once more and 3-1ing them. Very, very impressive performance from CLG. They weren’t winning one game to give us false hope, they’re looking to win it all.

CLG may have lost, but at least they are still second ><
Hopefully, they do good in playoffs!
