do people read fics if they don’t really have like. a suspenseful or angsty plot? like stuff happens but it’s not that deep or angsty. would people read that.

a kind of annoying thing about me is that i frequently use overly formal language because that’s just how i like to talk, so when i’m writing i have to remind myself that an angry, drunk man living in a trailer park would NOT be saying “i’ll speak to you however i please, young lady”
